सरस्वती नमस्तुभ्यं वरदे कामरूपिणि। विद्यारम्भं करिष्यामि सिद्धिर्भवतु मे सदा॥

Transliteration

Saraswati Namastubhyam Varade Kaamaroopini, Vidyaarambham Karishyaami Siddhirbhavatu Me Sadaa.

Meaning

Salutations to you, Saraswati, granter of every wish. I begin my studies — may I always find success in them.

या देवी स्तुयते नित्यं विबुधैर्वेदपारगैः। सा मे वसतु जिह्वाग्रे ब्रह्मरूपा सरस्वती॥

Transliteration

Ya Devi Stuyate Nityam Vibudhair-Veda-Paragaih, Saa Me Vasatu Jihvaagre Brahmarupaa Saraswati.

Meaning

May Saraswati, the very embodiment of learning, whom scholars versed in the Vedas praise without pause, always dwell on the tip of my tongue.
