Today's Choghadiya

Choghadiya divides daylight (sunrise to sunset) and night (sunset to next sunrise) into eight equal slots each. Every slot is graded good, bad, or neutral, so you can quickly pick a favourable window for a task without a full muhurat calculation.

Choghadiya gives a quick good/bad signal based only on the day and hour, it isn't enough on its own for major decisions like a wedding. Important events need the fuller calculation that combines tithi, nakshatra, weekday, and yoga.
