Both partners' charts + ceremony city
Find wedding dates that suit both of your charts
Enter both birth details and the wedding city. You get the dates in your window that suit both charts, in order, with Kharmas and Malmas days left out and the reason shown. Give those dates to your priest, who sets the exact hour. Three dates are free, the full list is $24 as a PDF.
How it works
- 1 Enter the groom’s and the bride’s birth dates, times and birth cities.
- 2 See three dates, free.
- 3 Add the wedding city and your email, pay once, and get the full list as a PDF by email.
Before you pay
- One PDF report, not a call. $24, paid once. No subscription and nothing billed by the minute.
- Right city, right clock. Each chart uses that person’s birth city, and the dates are given in the wedding city’s time zone.
- How fast. The PDF usually reaches your email within minutes of payment.
- Refund. If your report has not arrived within 24 hours and we cannot deliver it after you contact us, you get a full refund.
What you get
A dated shortlist you can hand to your priest
Dates checked against both charts
Every date is checked against the groom’s and the bride’s birth charts, not just one. The check is Tara Bala (the day’s star counted from each birth star) and Chandra Bala (the day’s Moon sign against each birth Moon).
Kharmas and Malmas left out, with the reason
When the Sun is in sidereal Dhanu or Meena, that stretch (Kharmas or Malmas) is classically left out for weddings. The report does not drop those days quietly. It shows the excluded ranges, so you can see why a month like December has few dates.
Dates for the wedding city
The shortlist uses the wedding city’s time zone, not either partner’s birthplace. That is the list to give your priest or venue. The exact hour is theirs to set against local sunrise there.
What this report is (and is not)
This report shortlists auspicious wedding dates from classical panchang rules and the Kharmas/Malmas exclusion, then ranks them against both partners’ Tara Bala and Chandra Bala, in the ceremony-venue timezone. It does not set the exact ceremonial hour (that belongs to the officiating priest, because the hour depends on local sunrise), does not claim a specific date guarantees a specific outcome for the marriage, and does not replace the judgement of a family priest if you have one. This is one input to your wedding-date decision, not a substitute for it.
FAQ
Questions about the wedding date shortlist
What is a vivah muhurat, and why does it need both charts? +
Vivah muhurat is the classically auspicious window for a wedding, picked from panchang rules (nakshatra, tithi, vara) and the Kharmas/Malmas exclusion, then personalized against both partners’ birth Moon charts - Tara Bala and Chandra Bala for each. Using both charts, not just one, is the same reasoning kundli matching itself uses: a date favourable for one partner’s Moon may not be for the other’s.
Will you tell me the exact ceremonial hour? +
No, deliberately. The exact hour is set by the officiating priest against local sunrise at the ceremony venue on the chosen day. This report narrows a window of dates down to the classically favourable ones, ranked for both charts, so the priest has a clean shortlist to work from.
Why does the ceremony city matter, separately from either partner’s birthplace? +
The shortlist is dated in the ceremony venue’s timezone so the dates you hand your priest or venue are the ones that actually apply there - a couple from Mumbai marrying in New Jersey needs New Jersey dates, not Mumbai ones.
What happens to Kharmas/Malmas dates - are they just skipped? +
They’re excluded from the ranked shortlist but shown separately as excluded ranges with the reason, so you can see why a stretch of your window (December–mid-January most years) has no eligible dates instead of wondering if the scan missed something.
Do I need both partners’ exact birth times? +
Yes, to about ten minutes ideally, for both partners. Tara Bala uses the janma-nakshatra (Moon nakshatra at birth), which changes roughly every 24 hours; Chandra Bala uses the birth Moon sign, stable across a day. Both partners’ details are needed since the shortlist ranks against both charts together.
When do I get the report? +
The PDF is emailed after payment, usually within minutes, and this page also shows a download link once it is ready. If it has not arrived within 24 hours and we cannot deliver it after you contact us, you get a full refund.
