Cookie Settings

Cookie settings should be honest, no fake toggles that do nothing. This page summarises what is happening. The Cookies Policy has the full detail.

Advertising measurement (Google Ads): No choice yet, so nothing from Google is loaded

• Only Google Ads purchase measurement. If you accept, Google’s tag loads, may set cookies on this device, and after a paid order we send Google the amount, currency and order number (no name, email or phone). If you reject, or have not chosen, nothing from Google loads and no advertising cookie is set.
• It does not change anything else on the site. The page-view logging and local storage described below are separate and work the same either way.

• localStorage on your own device: your in-progress kundli-matching order, so you do not have to start over on a page reload. It clears itself once the order completes; you can also clear it manually from your browser at any time.
• localStorage on your own device: your choice on this page, so we do not ask again on every visit.
• sessionStorage for the length of your visit: the campaign tags (utm_source and similar) of the link you arrived from, sent to our server only if you submit an order.

• Even without cookies, every page load sends a small beacon to our funnel API (path + referrer, and our server records the source IP) and a second beacon to Aktai Ltd’s internal page-view counter at api.aktai.app (path + referrer + browser user-agent, no cookies set).
• This is described in full in the Cookies Policy and the Privacy Policy. It is not used for advertising, not shared with third-party analytics providers, and not affected by your choice above.
• If you would prefer not to be counted, use a network blocker such as uBlock Origin or your browser’s built-in tracking protection, or block requests to api.nakshara.app/api/track/pageview and api.aktai.app/page-views/track. Blocking these will not affect the reports you paid for.

• When you pay, you interact with Razorpay or Stripe. Those companies may set their own cookies on their own domains to process the payment and prevent fraud. Their policies apply there: razorpay.com/privacy and stripe.com/cookie-settings.

• Go to your browser settings and clear site data/cookies for nakshara.app: the exact steps vary by browser (Settings → Privacy → Site data).

• If we ever add another analytics or advertising tool, it will be controlled from this page too, and it will stay off until you accept.
