For children born abroad to Indian parents
Your child’s chart, made for the city they were born in
Enter your child's birth details. The chart is made for the city where they were born, not an Indian city, because the ascendant depends on the exact time and place of birth. The report explains what it says in the Vedic tradition: nakshatra (birth star), Moon sign, ascendant (lagna) and the naming syllables, plus how families abroad keep the childhood ceremonies. It never predicts who your child will become. $21 for the PDF, sent by email.

What you get
Your child’s chart, explained for a life abroad
Made for the real birthplace
Your child's ascendant, Moon sign and nakshatra are worked out for the city and time zone they were born in, which is the classical rule: the ascendant belongs to the exact moment and place of birth, not to where the parents grew up.
What it says, and what it does not
Every placement is presented descriptively: what the classical texts say that nakshatra, rashi or ascendant traditionally signifies. The report is explicit that this is not a prediction of temperament, career or life outcome, your child is theirs to raise, not the chart's to determine.
The ceremonies, adapted for a life abroad
A section on how families abroad keep the naming (namakarana), first-food (annaprashana) and first-haircut (mundan) ceremonies without a family priest nearby.
What this report is (and is not)
This report describes your child's nakshatra, Moon sign and ascendant, computed from their actual foreign birthplace, alongside how diaspora families adapt the naming, first-food and first-haircut ceremonies. Every placement is presented descriptively, following what classical texts say it traditionally signifies. It does not predict your child's temperament, career or life outcome, and does not replace your own judgement as a parent.
FAQ
Questions from diaspora parents
Will this tell me what kind of person my child will be? +
No, deliberately not. The report is explicit, top and bottom, that every placement is a description of classical tradition, not a prediction about who your child will become. Their life is theirs to make, not the chart's.
My child was born in the US/UK/Canada. Is the chart still accurate? +
Yes, the report is built specifically for this. The ascendant, Moon sign and nakshatra are computed from your child's actual birth city and the historical time-zone offset in effect there on that date, which is the correct classical rule. A chart cast from an Indian city your child has never lived in would be wrong.
Do I need to know the exact birth time? +
Yes, to about ten minutes ideally. The ascendant changes roughly every two hours and the Moon changes nakshatra every ~24 hours and pada every ~6 hours, so an approximate time can shift these placements. If birth time is genuinely unknown, the report will still identify the Moon sign and nakshatra correctly from the day-level Moon, though the ascendant may be less precise.
What does the report say about naming? +
It identifies the classical starting syllable for all four padas of your child's nakshatra, with the pada that applies at their exact birth time highlighted. It does not supply a list of names with meanings, for that, our separate Namkaran report goes further with a diaspora pronounceability rating.
How do I get the report? +
The PDF is emailed after payment, usually within minutes. If it has not arrived within 24 hours and we cannot deliver it after you contact us, you get a full refund.
