What does a plain-English koota line look like?
These are real lines from the report. The full report has one for each of the 8 kootas, placed next to that koota in the classical table.
Graha Maitri ग्रह मैत्री
In modern terms: compare communication and decision styles. During conflict, listen before trying to solve the problem.
Gana गण
In modern terms: discuss differences in temperament and pace. What kind of pause or support helps each person when tension rises?
Vashya वश्य
In modern terms: discuss influence and personal space. Can each person disagree without pressure?
Three examples. They are the same for every couple and are not your scores.
One PDF, two readers
Can one report work for the couple and for the parents?
For you and your partner
A plain-English line beside each koota. They are prompts for a conversation, such as how each of you handles disagreement, not a verdict on the two of you.
For your parents and the family
The classical table the way a pandit would lay it out: the 8 kootas, points out of 36, the Manglik status and a line on what each koota traditionally covers. The Sanskrit names are written in English letters.
How to read it
What does a score of 18 out of 36 mean?
Traditionally a total of 18 or more out of 36 is considered compatible. That is a classical convention. It does not forecast your marriage, your health or your finances, and the lines in the report say so where it matters. Treat the score as a starting point for a conversation.
FAQ
Questions before you start
Is the report in English? +
Yes. Order from an English page and both the PDF and the email that delivers it are in English. The koota table, the dosha section and the interpretation are all in English, with the Sanskrit names such as Graha Maitri written in English letters, and every koota has a plain-English line. For a couple living in different countries, the NRI version adds three sections and is $31.
What do I see before I pay? +
You see your total score out of 36, three sample plain-English lines and a list of what the full report contains. The per-koota table, the dosha analysis and the interpretation for your pair are in the paid report.
Do the plain-English lines predict anything? +
No. They turn each koota into a topic to talk about, such as influence and personal space, or how you each handle stress. They are the same wording for every couple and do not say how your pair scored.
How much does it cost? +
$11. The price is shown again at checkout before you pay. There is no subscription.
Which ayanamsa does it use? +
The Lahiri ayanamsa, adopted by India’s Calendar Reform Committee in 1955. The free birth chart on this site follows the same one.
