Cookie settings should be honest — no fake toggles that do nothing. This page summarises what is happening. The Cookies Policy has the full detail.

Nothing to consent to on nakshara.app itself

• Nakshara sets no analytics or advertising cookies on its own domain. Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the EU ePrivacy Directive, no consent banner is required for storage that is essential to a service you have asked for.

• localStorage on your own device: your in-progress kundli-matching order, so you do not have to start over on a page reload. It clears itself once the order completes; you can also clear it manually from your browser at any time.

• Even without cookies, every page load sends a small beacon to our funnel API (path + referrer, and our server records the source IP) and a second beacon to Aktai Ltd’s internal page-view counter at api.aktai.app (path + referrer + browser user-agent, no cookies set).
• This is described in full in the Cookies Policy and the Privacy Policy. It is not used for advertising or shared with third-party analytics providers.
• If you would prefer not to be counted, use a network blocker such as uBlock Origin or your browser’s built-in tracking protection, or block requests to api.nakshara.app/api/track/pageview and api.aktai.app/page-views/track. Blocking these will not affect the reports you paid for.

• When you pay, you interact with Razorpay or Stripe. Those companies may set their own cookies on their own domains to process the payment and prevent fraud. Their policies apply there: razorpay.com/privacy and stripe.com/cookie-settings.

• Go to your browser settings and clear site data/cookies for nakshara.app: the exact steps vary by browser (Settings → Privacy → Site data).

• If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will add a real consent and preference control here, not a fake toggle.
