A high guna score alone isn’t enough in kundli matching. A few doshas get checked separately, no matter how good the score is.
Manglik dosha
When Mars sits in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the Lagna, Moon or Venus, a chart is considered Manglik. Traditionally, if both sides are Manglik, the dosha is considered mutually cancelled. See the full breakdown of Manglik dosha for how it’s checked and cancelled.
Nadi dosha
Nadi dosha forms when both charts share the same Nadi. It’s treated as the heaviest of the 8 kootas in Ashtakoota, and it isn’t ignored even when the overall score is high.
Bhakoot dosha
Bhakoot dosha comes from specific relationships between the two Moon signs, and it’s traditionally linked to progeny and family well-being.
A dosha doesn’t always mean “no”
Traditional cancellation rules exist for every dosha. So having a dosha isn’t an automatic rejection, the full picture needs to be read.
